Wow! I love it. Although I always do like your drawings. Lol. By the way, I think heard somewhere that Baloo was a sloth bear. However, I am not sure. Then again I think the sloth bear is the only type of bear that lives in India.

Another terrific Jungle Book image. And I'm sure Kipling did describe Baloo as a brown bear. Sloth bears are much smaller and have black fur and grey-brown snouts. (I only know that because I've just been watching a wildlife show.)

My only quibble with this picture is all the unused space around the edge. Apart from that, the dark marks caused by the wavy paper could be digitally erased from the white background, and what's left of them wouldn't show up so much on the figures. Anyway, leaving all that aside, great picture and I hope to see more soon.

Ta! yeah Baloo is definatly a brown bear, i checked the book first just in case and he's described as "the sleepy brown bear" ^^ And yeah does look a bit empty round the sides, i often leave pics unfinished cos im worried i'll cock the rest up lol

Ok, I'm not sure either. Although, I'm not sure if brown or grey bears even exist in India. I think the sloth bear is the only bear that exists there. However, I'm not sure.

right... i looked up the bear thing to put my mind at rest, and it seems that there are 3 types of bears in india : the himalayan black bear, the sloth bear and...the brown bear! phew ^^ But hey i trust Kipling to know if there were brown bears in India, he lived there after all... Anywho..^^
